News 2009 BPA Rebate Available for Clearlight 40W LED NEMA Type 5 Lamp Seattle – September 18, 2009. Evluma Clearlight 40W LED replacement lamp for NEMA Type 5 lighting applications has been approved for a Custom Project Proposal Incentive from Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). Incentives will be based on energy saved by installation of the Clearlight in lighting applications currently served by 70-150W High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and 50-175W Mercury Vapor (MV) lamps. Seattle – October 6, 2009. Evluma, a manufacturer of energy efficient SSL lighting products, announces that it’s product, the Clearlight, a 40W LED replacement lamp for 50-175W MV or 70-150W HPS lamps used in NEMA Type 5 fixtures, has qualified for the International Dark Sky Association (IDA) Dark Sky Seal of Approval. The Clearlight is a Full Cutoff retrofit lamp. No light is emitted above 90°. Evluma to Release Wide Optic LED Luminaire for Area Lighting Seattle – August 3, 2009. Evluma, a SSL manufacturer located in Seattle, Washington, announces the new Clearlight 40W Wide Optic LED luminaire for dusk-till-dawn area lights, the latest in its line of energy efficient, LED replacement lamp / luminaries. With a peak intensity vertical angle of 53º the new wide optic delivers light in an evenly dispersed NEMA Type 5 (circular) pattern. Evluma Signs Marketing Agreement with Service Concepts Seattle – May 14 , 2009 Evluma, a manufacturer of energy efficient SSL lighting products, has signed distributor agreements with two of nine Electric Utility Distributor Association (EUDA) members: Rural Electric Supply Cooperative (RESCO) and Texas Electric Cooperatives (TEC). These agreements bring their premier LED lighting product, the Clearlight NEMA Type 5 lamp, to electric utilities in the Midwestern regions of the USA. Evluma has signed a total of four out of the nine co-op owned stocking distributors members of EUDA to date.
