Evluma to Introduce Premier Products at Energy Management Conference

Seattle – May 14, 2008. Evluma, an environmentally conscious manufacturer of solid state illumination products from Seattle, WA, will be launching its patent pending premier products at the West Coast Energy Management Conference. Engineers from Evluma will be available to discuss the technology behind these new products and how they may be of benefit to public utilities, electric companies and distributors of lighting systems.

Evluma will demonstrate and discuss a mercury vapor lamp replacement that is mercury free, reduces light pollution and operates at a favorable power factor. “With over 8 million mercury vapor security lights being used in the USA, we felt that we could develop a replacement solution that is less expensive to operate, require less maintenance and would be a much more pleasing color temperature,” said Keith Miller of Evluma. Mercury vapor lights typically have a harsh greenish-blue color.

Evluma will be exhibiting at booth 526. The West Coast EMC will be held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Halls D & E.
