Regional Sales Manager
EVLUMA in Renton, WA seeks a qualified Regional Sales Manager for the Western region including the following states: CA,OR, WA, AZ, NV, UT, ID and MT.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $135,000.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum five years of outside sales experience in the utility market, Lighting and/or electrical industry
- Ideal candidate will have a background in the utility market, LED lighting and controls
- Proven success in sales growth within a given region and timeframe
- Experience with manufacture reps, the utility market, ESCOs, specification community and distributors
- Ability to understand and respond to technical documents, RFI’s and RFQ’s
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational, leadership and program management skills
- Ability to travel 50% to 70% of the time
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher – Business or Technical Field Preferred
- Must live in the sales territory
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region
- Collaborating with manufacture reps, specifiers, ESCOs and distributors to maximize sales revenue, close specific target accounts and meet or exceed regional-set goals
- Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales
- Reporting opportunities and specifications using the CRM
- Managing with the National Sales Director all parts of the sales channel: Distributors, manufacture reps, specification community, ESCOs, distributors and customers
- Developing specific plans with the Sales Director to ensure growth both short and long-term
- Educating manufacture reps, utilities, the specification community, ESCOs and distributors with presentations of product overviews, strategies, seminars, and hosting regular meetings
- Mandatory joint sales calls with manufacture reps and distributors calling on key customer accounts
- Participate in local, regional and national tradeshows
- Attend all required Evluma sales meetings in Renton, Washington
- Reviewing regional expenses and recommend improvements
