Evluma Recognized as IRC Seattle 2016 Employment Honoree

At the Rebuilding Lives Dinner, September 2016, Evluma was recognized as the International Rescue Committee’s Seattle 2016 Employment Honoree. Evluma has partnered with the International Rescue Committee and the Refugee Federation Service Center through hiring and sponsorship. Evluma was a Patron level event sponsor of the Rebuilding Lives Dinner. Evluma currently employs 4 individuals whom have been introduced to us by the International Rescue Committee in Seattle. The Refugee Federation Service Center offers electronic assembly training to refugees. Evluma currently employs 8 individuals who have gone through the electronic assembly training offered the RFSC.

Evluma is also featured in the recently released video 40 Years from Harm to Home.

The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. The IRC in Seattle provides critical services and support to refugees and survivors of human trafficking who are rebuilding their lives in our community.

Refugee Federation Service Center: The largest nonprofit service provider for refugees in the Seattle-King County area. Bilingual/bicultural staff are committed to finding jobs that match clients’ interests and abilities. RFSC also offers Electronic Assembly skills training with ESL support and a comprehensive social service program.
